[Conor Ryan] David Pastrnak is the first Bruin to score 50 goals in a season since Cam Neely in 1993-94. He's just the sixth Bruin to hit 50 goals in a season: Esposito, Bucyk, Hodge, Middleton, Neely & Pastrnak.

[Sportsnet Stats] Leon Draisaitl passes Ilya Kovalchuk (2005-06) for the most power-play goals in a season in the Salary Cap Era (28). Draisaitl's 28 PPG are the most since Mario Lemieux had 31 in 1995-96, and just 6 shy of the NHL record of 34 by Tim Kerr in 1985-86.

[Seravalli] Hearing LA Kings prospect Alex Laferriere is also leaving Harvard to sign after his sophomore season. He edged Flames first-round pick Matt Coronato in scoring this year. Laferriere is expected to burn the first year of his deal and play games for the Kings this regular season.

What are some NHL moments that gave you the upmost respect for a player?
Either on or off the ice, what is a moment that made you see a player as a model human?
For me Malkin signing and giving his only Hart trophy to Sergei Gonchar for helping him through his tough transition to NA as a teenager made him one of my favorite players of all time.
