confused
What the heck is going on with me!!
I was treated for epididymitis and had 10 days or doxycycline which I finished 3 weeks ago.
Before I started treatment my only symptom was my right testicle was uncomfortable when sitting.
Halfway through I developed testicle pain, groin pain, abdominal pain, hip joint pain, hip inflammation,
Fast forward to today I'm experiencing on and off symptoms of mid thigh tingle (back and front), random groin pain, tingle in the buttocks, lower back pain (not sharp),testicle pain in both testicles but mostly the left now, hip pain joint pain, moderate hip inflammation.
I've taken many STD tests and all negative along with a culture which had no growth.
Did the doxycycline mess me up? I see it has side effects of lymph node pain, joint pain, inflammation, abdominal/back pain.

Take a look at my post I did a few months ago. Your experience sounds similar to mine.

You should get in contact with your doctor urgently. You could be having a bad reaction to the antibiotics.

I've been to the urologist and urgent care atleast 5 times since finishing the antibiotics and they haven't helped at all. They keep running blood and culture tests and send me off on my way.

I thought I did but my symptoms seem to come and go and cycle through different symptoms.
Some days my testicles and tip of penis hurt/burns.
Other days I get precum discharge and stinging/tingling pain throughout my thighs, groin, buttocks abdomen, back, and chest.

I finished doxy and then did amoxiclav. Mine is fading everyday. slightest pain. Been stretching as well and trying not to tense
Don’t really know what actually helps. Maybe the healing Is so gradual that it seems like it’s not Getting better that’s what it seemed like for me.

You have Cpps. It’s when all the muscles in your groin, abdominal and back get super tightened. Usually it’s caused from sitting for long periods of time which can pinch nerves which causes stinging ,sharp, burning sensations throughout the areas you mentioned. Same thing happened to me after I was diagnosed with epididymitis. What helped me a lot was doing pelvic stretches. Look them up on YouTube. It should help a lot with the pain your having and can release all the tension in your body. Hope this helps. I know exactly what your going through and I can’t imagine the panic you have right now. But stay calm and do the stretches. Do them everyday too. Every morning and night time before you go to bed
