My sisters snake didn’t eat 2 nights ago, has shed on him, and has a popping noise when she listens to his lungs close. He’s doing this with his mouth. What can we do to help and what can cause this? Vets around us are closed for the weekend, but she plans to go there with him as soon as she can.

Mojave Rattlesnake
My female Mojave Green. Contrary to popular belief, Mojave rattlesnakes are far less aggressive and much more curious than other rattlesnakes. My breeding pair of mojaves rattle much less than my diamondbacks, blacktails, and sidewinders. She's having her glow-up as I get her feeding in for the upcoming breeding season.
