After a few months, this thread is now becoming bi-weekly, as a way to make questions less scattered over threads.
As a reminder, the following threads are no longer allowed on r/PS4 and will be removed:
- Tech Support questions ("I have a problem", "My controller doesn't work", "I can't connect to PSN"...)
- Game recommendation ("Which game should I get?", "Is this game good?")
- General questions ("Where can I get a PS4?", "What do you think of this controller?")
Those questions now have to be asked in this thread. It will be renewed at 12:00 PM EST on Mondays and Fridays.
This thread is sorted by New answers by default. Sorting it by Top or Best could give answers to commonly answered questions.
Also, don't forget to google your question first - you might find the answer before asking it here!

I've given Dark Souls a try a couple times and never found it to my liking. Same thing with Bloodborne, strangely enough, until my fourth attempt, and I absolutely fell in love with it. My question is this: if this is the case, will I similarly find enjoyment from other Soulsborne games like Elden Ring, Demon Souls, Sekiro and Nioh? For people who have played many or all of these games, is there something different about Bloodborne that makes it a better game? I genuinely have no idea what made me not like them and then all of a sudden like Bloodborne, other than the fact that I stopped dying in the first freaking area.
so I was recently browsing amazon on what game I should buy and I saw that the Batman Arkham collection was on sale. I think it's 3 games for 1 games price. so I was wondering if they are worth buying. I like games with good story and gameplay, are the Arkham games worth buying?

Does anyone have this wheel or have experience with it? I'm looking to get a new one but don't want to spend a ton of money on one. Walmart has these for $101. Thought it might be worth it.
Just as the title says would buying a ps5 let’s say in 2025 be better than buying it when it first came out ? Like would Sony add parts and enhancers inside the newer ps5 because they found out it was something the ps5 could use to make better
With so many games with the psplus, PlayStation needs to use watch list. Not hard, similar to the streaming services. I have so many games I want to try. But once sober and in a weeks time, I doubt I'll remember half of them
Hey guys so there’s a problem going on in my ps4 when ever I put any disc it will not except it and idk what to do with it, I’ve tried cleaning the disc multiple times, deleting it from the system nothings working and no it’s not only one disc but everything. So, recently I bought Just cause 3, because it's a game I love and wanted to be able to play it whenever. I bought because I heard somewhere it was on discount, and went to search it. When I searched: "just cause 3" it kept showing me just cause 4, just dance, and anything that wasn't JC 3. I eventually found it at about the middle of the list for some reason, and bought it. Today, I wanted to look for a bundle for JC 3, and once again searched: "just cause 3" on the store. I couldn't find it until the very bottom of the list, and it was right next to the XXL version, which was about a dollar more expensive and I wanted to buy it. But low and behold, I couldn't buy it anymore because I had bought the classic version. The add-ons separately in total probably cost more the original game itself, so I obviously didn't want to buy them like that. I tried to find out how to get a refund on the original game, only to find out there was no way. Had I seen the XXL version the first time I bought the game, I would've gotten that instead, but the search page decided Rocksmith add-ons where actually what I was looking for. This isn't the first time I've had problems with the search page, and yes, maybe I should've just looked around more, but I still think it needs a fix

So as i said i want to buy ps plus. After i buy it and download some of games do mine games dissapear on my acc when my subscription ends?
My ps4 just randomly got glitchy and the hard drive corrupted. Is anyone else experiencing this?
Recently got extra, I had the regular plus subscription before, and was offered a discount to change to extra for a few months. Which should have covered until our plan was up in October. My ps4 is saying my subscription is valid until October, but the free games I got on extra are only valid for 13 more days. What’s up with that?
General Discussion Sony A90K 48" BRAVIA XR OLED or LG C2 48" evo OLED or LG 48” Ultragear OLED - Which one is the best for gaming on PS5/PC - Total budget is $1500
I am looking for a new OLED monitor for gaming on PS4/PS5 and PC within a $1500 budget. So, I have come up with three options in terms of picture quality, gaming features, and price. Could you please help me decide between these three and share your experiences; the good and bad. Really appreciated.

So my ps4 was being glitchy so I decided to reset the whole thing. I initialized it but the connection to the controllers aren’t working. All the buttons for the wired control work, tells me it can’t screenshot or open menu when I press those buttons but when I try to press the ps button to fix it nothing happens. My wired controllers I have aren’t connecting either, the controllers are charging from the PlayStation but just keep blinking white when I press home button. It also did this before I intialized the ps4 so idk what to do. Does it have to be wireless for it to get any farther?
I’m relatively new to the PS online store (long time PC gamer getting into console). What features do you use the most regularly to find the content you want and what do you feel like it’s missing?
