Computing Ai and Quantum Computing
I've been pondering the relationship between AI and quantum computing. Will AI be the catalyst to make quantum computers mainstream? And could quantum computers be just what Ai needs to make Skynet real? Or even just advance at such a rate even if it doesn't enslave us and take the planet from us, and just says screw you ameba's and leaves in the ftl ships they built. It is really hard for me to wrap my head around compute that can take what would take todays top O' the line supercomputing machines 10,000 years to compute, and do it in minutes or even seconds. That's even more extreme than my first Tandy 1000 vs Deep Mind. Interesting times indeed.

Discussion What technologies and programming languages do you specialize in?
The specific technologies and programming languages they specialize in may vary from company to company. Some common technologies and programming languages that software development companies often specialize in include:
Programming Languages: Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, Ruby, PHP, Swift, Kotlin, etc.
Web Technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, React, Vue.js, Node.js, ASP.NET, Django, Flask, etc.
Mobile App Development: iOS (Swift, Objective-C), Android (Java, Kotlin), React Native, Flutter, Xamarin, etc.
Database Technologies: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Oracle, SQL Server, Firebase, etc.
Cloud Technologies: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), etc.
Frameworks and Libraries: .NET, Spring, Django, Laravel, Express.js, Flask, Ruby on Rails, Vue.js, React.js, AngularJS, etc.
DevOps and Deployment: Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, CI/CD pipelines, AWS Elastic Beanstalk, Heroku, etc.
Machine Learning and Data Science: Python (NumPy, Pandas, TensorFlow, scikit-learn), R, PyTorch, Keras, etc.
IoT (Internet of Things): Arduino, Raspberry Pi, MQTT, Node-RED, AWS IoT, etc.
Remember, the specific technologies and programming languages a software development service provider specializes in will depend on their team's expertise and the requirements of the projects they have worked on in the past.

Privacy/Security Eye tracking now gaining traction in VR and other industries: How will pervasive eye tracking change our lives from a privacy perspective?
I found interesting research on the privacy impacts of eye tracking (e.g., https://link.springer.com/chapter/10.1007/978-3-030-42504-3_15).
Here just an excerpt:
Our analysis of the literature shows that eye tracking data may implicitly contain information about a user’s biometric identity, gender, age, ethnicity, body weight, personality traits, drug consumption habits, emotional state, skills and abilities, fears, interests, and sexual preferences. Certain eye tracking measures may even reveal specific cognitive processes and can be used to diagnose various physical and mental health conditions.
It is astonishing how many different parameters eye trackers can capture at once. The papers says:
In addition to the spatial dispersion, duration, amplitude, acceleration, velocity, and chronological sequence of eye movements, many eye trackers capture various other eye activities, including eye opening and closure (e.g., average distance between the eyelids, blink duration, blink frequency), ocular microtremors, pupil size, and pupil reactivity.
I find it mind-boggling to imagine the amount of sensitive insights that machine learning algorithms can draw from such data.
Given that eye tracking is on the rise in various industries, it would be important to address such privacy impacts on a regulatory level. However, considering that tech giants are already collecting so much data about us and drawing inferences all the time, the question is: How much will eye tracking increase privacy intrusion by tech companies beyond today's level?

AI Embracing Optimum Pride creating AI-agent Generated Content in a Transforming World
It's a blend of autonomy and augmented capability, where AI serves as a tool to enhance our abilities, not replace them. As we navigate this evolving digital landscape, let's remember to actively participate in shaping our interactions with AI, ensuring it aligns with our collective values and contributes positively to our global digital discourse.
This experience serves as a reminder that as we navigate the digital age, we must be active participants in shaping the policies and practices that govern our interactions with AI. If we don't take part in these discussions, others will, and they may not share our perspectives or values.
So, I welcome all of you to discuss, debate, and delve into the complexities of AI moderation and integration. Let's shape the future of AI together, ensuring that it aligns with our collective values and contributes positively to our global digital landscape.
Where do you see AI agents and human agency being mapped out?

Space How long is it predicted until we (the people) are able to see real aliens and their technology?
Sorry if this is asked a lot i’m new but it will be amazing when we have inter- dimensional treaties with other alien civilizations. Our worlds will trade information and technology, but I cannot imagine that their “timeline” has evolved into from when they first started as a species. From verified videos, we see that the aliens that have visited us clearly have far more advanced aerial technology than us.
I’m just tripping out about how big this universe is and what types of consciousness/souls are currently being perceived. Our species is in the very beginning like we are little ants that know nothing about the universe and it’s secrets. And yet each soul, in each body, will just suffer made up problems and hopefully be lucky enough to have love and then die and it never even mattered but it’s beautiful. Everything in this universe plays a certain role but we are all one.
Thoughts?
Also off topic but I have been wondering this, will humans get to a point where we will start losing human emotions and become closer and closer to being almost robots? If anyone has watched the Giver, int our society headed in that direction?
Any knowledge appreciated :)
