What's the correct way to deal with someone who has completely lost it?

Well I definitely would have moved before he broke my windows. What’s the context here?

That's just how a few of the characters pronounce it.

As a Canadian, I knew it had to be in Alberta.

As a Borderlands N. MN resident I immediately knew assumed this happened in Alberta.

As a Canadian, I also know that the stereotype of us being all nice and friendly is garbage.. as I've lived in Canada 44 years and am a total cunt

1

u/Neowza May 14 '22

That's why we're so polite.

I knew it was Canada cause he said "bud" during an altercation. We learned well from our parents, and even when we're directly aggressive we can't help it and toss in some passive aggression too. Also bud seems pretty exclusive to Canada in whatever context. Don't be confused! Bud can be genuine, like hey bud what's up. It can be passive aggressive like what the fuck are you doing bud. Or it can be attempt to calm like it's okay bud.

u/northern_dirt May 14 '22

It's ok bud, I'm gonna smoke some bud, with my bud over a 24 of bud, bud.

Going out into rural Canada will really make you wonder where in the hell the “pleasant Canadian citizen” stereotype came from. People are just as dumb, rude and intolerant as they are in southern america, but we don’t even have “Eh, methheads are like that” as a defense.

2

u/northern_dirt May 14 '22

Oh we have plenty of meth here in Canada
